POLAND: Cities, Towns and Jewish Life includes entries on every Polish town and village whose pre-World War II Jewish population totaled 500 or more. Whether you are on a visit to Poland, or want to learn about the country from the comfort of your home, POLAND: Cities, Towns and Jewish Life contains information on all the important tourist sites, cities, towns and villages — with a special emphasis on the Jewish history of Poland. All Polish cities are included in POLAND: Cities, Towns and Jewish Life, with information about each locations general and Jewish history. A map with major sites appears in each city entry. The App includes over 400 towns and villages. Any town or village whose Jewish population exceeded 500 prior to World War II has been included. The history of each town, both general and Jewish is also presented. Over 850 sites are included in POLAND: Cities, Towns and Jewish Life. Sites range from: museums and castles, to Jewish cemeteries. Each site appears with a map and the ability to navigate to that point of interest. Survivors of the Holocaust present their personal testimonies in our POLAND: Cities, Towns and Jewish Life app, sharing their own story, as well as the stories of some of the cities and towns from which they came .The App also contains detailed information about every Nazi death camp located in Poland. Each camp entry includes its history and the location of individual sites within that camp. Finally, the App contains information on most of the sites and tourist attractions located in each city and town. However, some tourist attractions (like national parks) are featured in a separate section dedicated to Tourist sites.
